Service

As our faith grows, and our relationship with God deepens, we begin to sense God's call to us to serve the world in the name of Christ.  John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, called our response to that call "the fruits of authentic faith."  Good Shepherd offers many opportunities to serve others in the church, our community, and our world.   

Food Pantry

When:  All week long - most activity is Tuesday - Thursday. 
Where:  Food Pantry storage, Cooper Hall, Bruce Chapel and elsewhere. 

The Food Pantry ministry provides food to over 1,000 people each month.  Preparation involves loading and unloading food shipments, sorting and packaging food, assembling government commodity boxes, and assisting with administrative tasks.  Physical labor is involved with some of the tasks, but not all.  If this sounds interesting, contact our Food Pantry Coordinator.

Mission Trips

When:  Schedule varies
Where:  Various locations, both within Colorado and in other states

Work groups head out to put their faith into action on special mission trips.  Recent trips have included youth work trips to camps inside Colorado, as well as adult trips to McCurdy School in New Mexico.  For information, contact our Missions Chair.  

Music Ministries

When:  Various times throughout the week and the year
Where:  Varies

Good Shepherd's Music Ministries provide opportunities for using our musical gifts in service to the church.  From Chancel Choir to our Praise Band to small quartets and children's music, there are many opportunities to participate.  If you can hum a tune, we can help you with the rest!  Contact our Director of Music Ministries for more information. 

Children's Ministries

When:  Various times throughout the week and the year

Good Shepherd's ministries for children are growing!  Whether you are called to help out with the Children's Sermon, Children's Church, Sunday School, or our summer Vacation Bible School, we want to hear from you!  Contact our Director of Children's Ministries for more information. 

Youth Ministries
