Food Pantry

Good Shepherd's Food Pantry provides groceries to over a thousand people each month.

Food Pantry Hours

When:  The Second and Fourth Thursday of each month (During December, the second and third) from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm
Where:  Cooper Hall

A wide variety of food is available each week for those who qualify.  In addition, government commodities are distributed through our Food Pantry when available.

Emergency Food

When:  11:00 am until 2:30 pm on days when the Church Office is open
Where:  Church Office

For those who truly do not have enough food to last until Food Pantry hours on Thursday, emergency food is available by contacting the church office during regular office hours.

In order to receive emergency food supplies, each person must meet eligibility requirements.  Emergency food is only available for a given recipient on an occasional basis with a referral provided by The Walt Fortman Center.

Supporting the Food Pantry Ministry

How can you help with the Food Pantry?  Donations of both time and money help to keep the Pantry open.  Donating your time involves assisting with preparation or distribution of food.  Monetary donations provide funding to assist with the purchase of food.  For more information on how you can help, contact the Church Office.
