Ordway Disaster Relief

Good Shepherd UMC has sent some needed items to Ordway and will see that any future donations are delivered..   Gift cards for Walmart and checks made to "Ordway Community Fund" c/o First National Bank, Ordway, CO 81063 will be mailed from the church. Some were sent on Sunday.

Items needed include baby clothes and shoes, baby toys, items to furnish  FEMA  trailers.  Pet food will help the local animal shelter there.  Ordway Healthmart Pharmacy will use donations to help persons replace both OTC meds and RX items lost in the fire.

June Potluck

Join us June 1 at 6:00 pm.  The Mission Committee that went to McCurdy School in Espanola, New Mexico will put on a presentation.  The potluck is sponsored by the United Methodist Men.  Stay tuned for more information.

Food Pantry Schedule

Our Food Pantry is open the second and fourth Thursdays of the month from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. For the month of June, the Food Pantry will be open the 1st and 3rd Thursday.

Good Shepherd 101

Have you considered joining Good Shepherd United Methodist Church?  Our next membership class will be held on June 1 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm (preceding our potluck).  Please contact the office to sign up.

Youth News

Our WIRED (Worship, Invitation, Relationships, Extending a Hand) Youth Group has returned.  They meet Sundays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.  This is for ages 13 to 18 years.  There will be studies, discussions, prayers, fun, food, games, field trips and opportunities to connect with other youths. 

RealLife Worship is Going Strong!

It's not "traditional," it's not "contemporary," and it's not "blended," either.  It's a new kind of service with a variety of musical styles, media, and a message that relates to our lives today.  Come check it out RealLife worship!
